Abundance of standard features

The all-new Barina comes with an abundance of convenient and clever features as standard including; Bluetooth® phone and audio streaming*, USB input with iPod® connectivity, cruise control and steering wheel audio controls.

Spirited performance

The spirited 1.6 litre 4-cylinder engine is mated to a five-speed manual or optional six-speed automatic transmission with active select. When it comes to performance, the all-new Barina makes for a truly spirited drive.

Highest level of safety

Barina has been awarded the highest possible 5-star ANCAP safety rating. With six airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Brake Assist (BA), and Traction Control (TC), all as standard.

Offering an extra dose of excitement is a sports-inspired rear spoiler. The standard body-colour matched spoiler enhances Barina’s athletic stance and sporty flair.

Hidden rear door handles

The uniquely designed hidden rear door handles add coupe-like flair to the Barina. Cleverly designed, they give the appearance of a 3-door, while offering the functionality and convenience of a 5-door.

Cruise Control

Cruise control allows you to maintain a steady speed without keeping your foot on the pedal. Steering wheel mounted controls allow you to engage and cancel the cruising speed of the Barina all while keeping both hands on the wheel.

Steering wheel controls

The Barina offers you the added advantage of multi-function steering wheel controls that allow you to operate the audio system, cruise control and Bluetooth® without taking your hands off the wheel. Functionality includes engaging and cancelling cruise control, changing radio stations, selecting music tracks, adjusting the volume plus the ability to answer and end phone calls.

Multi-media audio

If the ability to play your own tracks direct from your personal library is high on your agenda, you won’t be disappointed. The Barina is equipped with a 4-speaker audio system with an MP3 compatible in-dash CD player, Bluetooth® audio streaming, and USB input and auxiliary input, which allows you to connect your iPod®, compatible MP3 players and USB flash drives.

Bluetooth®

Clever features such as Bluetooth® phone and audio streaming keep your hands free while driving and talking on your mobile phone or wirelessly streaming music from a Bluetooth® enabled Smartphone*. Steering wheel controls allow you to receive and end phone calls or change audio tracks without taking your hands off the wheel.
